+ What causes mould?
The presence of mould indicates moisture on surfaces for prolonged periods of time (24 hours+). This can be caused by one-off events such as a flood, by building defects, or activities that affect environmental conditions e.g. drying clothes on radiators, unvented moisture from boilers.
+ How long does the mould treatment work?
Mould spores are always in the air, and enter our buildings through windows, vents and on the people and items. However, if recommended building repairs have been made, HPC will re-treat any area if mould reoccurs within three months of initial treatment.
+ Do you provide testing/sampling?
Yes, we provide ATP results (Adenosine Triphosphate Hygiene Monitoring Systems (ATP Swab Testing)). We will follow up with a light summary explanation of each.
+ Will I have to vacate the building?
Not always and we can work to minimise disruption including 24/7 availability to work around yours.
