The Perfect Solution For Aircraft Decontamination

Hygiene Pro Clean (HPC) announces its unique Effective Decontamination is the perfect solution for rapid, effective Aircraft Decontamination in response to the growing commercial and private aviation industry safety concerns.

Hygiene Pro Clean (HPC) are developers and manufacturers of a unique atomisation system. The system has been designed for the purpose of effectively delivering disinfectants and cleaning chemicals to treat the air volume and surfaces within the void. It overcomes the problems of consistent particle size, pressurised delivery and static charge generation associated with other delivery methods such as fogging machines and electrostatic sprayers.

Effective Decontamination has been demonstrated during testing and trials with the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust (WAST) in conjunction with the Welsh Government, SBRI funding & the UK Government’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratories at Porton Down. After assessing nearly 300 options, the Hygiene Pro Clean system was proven to be the most suitable to deliver maximum coverage and efficacy in a void whilst minimising chemical usage to deliver rapid, safe and effective disinfection.

The HPC system is unique in utilising a valve system to deliver at atmospheric pressure so that voids are not over-pressurised and particles are not forced into unwanted areas e.g. electronics, air handling systems, cabinets etc. This also prevents surface contaminants from being propelled into the air and eliminates the issue of chemical ‘bounce back’ off surfaces or untreated ‘halos’ around the delivery nozzle area.

The application method is simple, safe and repeatable. It minimises human error as all surfaces will receive chemical coverage. What completes HPC’s effective decontamination making it robust is the governance, and support provided by the business. This includes embedding the system into a clients operation through a structured Licence To Operate Training programme ensuring that all responsible operatives are trained, competency assessed, certified and annually audited. This is critical in ensuring repeatability in efficacy and safety. All equipment is serviced and maintained to PUWER and/or recognised industry and client standards. HPC Support is 24/7 and includes technical, equipment, training, method and compliance resources.

The HPC system is available in several formats – a back-pack, mobile trolley, and mobile cleaning trolley. All formats have the option of being powered by either an air tank or medical-grade compressor. As such they can all be used remotely without an electrical power source, generator or battery pack. As OEMs, Hygiene Pro Clean are able to develop bespoke formats for industry-specific applications. This may include fixed systems or the development of ancillaries to ensure the continuous supply of air, chemical and spares.
