Our technology
What makes the Hygiene Pro Clean system so revolutionary is the use of Ultrasonic Atomisation at atmospheric pressure. Until now atomisation technology has always been compromised by the challenges and difficulties posed by two key issues: particle size and pressurisation.
Hygiene Pro Clean’s Ultrasonic atomiser produces a consistent particle size of between 10 and 15 microns. At this size particles form mist clouds, moving on the air of any void and providing optimum coverage and contact time without over-wetting. They are also large enough for standard PPE to be effective while not requiring areas to be made airtight or for expensive and time-consuming ventilation.
The Hygiene Pro Clean system uses high pressure to generate energy before utilising a unique combination of regulator valves to reduce the pressure of the compressed air and operate at atmospheric pressure. This use of a High Pressure and Low Pressure entirely negates the issues associated with pressurised delivery into a void.
Decon Pro Clean® is an extremely effective (>log-6 reduction), safe, decontaminating reagent for the most challenging decontamination and remediation projects. It is non-mutagenic, non-carcinogenic, safe for humans, animals and plants. It’s low-corrosive qualities do not damage common industry materials, making it versatile and adaptable for decontamination and cleaning in any environment.

Why we’re special
Recently Hygiene Pro Clean have been undertaking testing and trials with the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust (WAST) in conjunction with SBRI & DSTL Porton Down. The Trust was seeking a way to reduce the time needed to disinfect and effect the rapid sanitisation of ambulances in order to return them to active service more quickly. They required a cost-efficient and reliable method to deliver rapid, safe and effective sanitisation, and considered nearly 300 applications.
After over 6 months of assessment, analysis and consideration, WAST has moved to make HygienePro Clean its’ sole provider of decontamination equipment for the sanitisation of ambulances. This was awarded without a ‘competitive tender’ on the basis that due diligence through SBRI and the trial had demonstrated that HPC was the most beneficial system for ambulance sanitisation, and that there were no competitors offering a comparable system.
A key feature is a multi-dimensional approach that HPC uses to deliver effective decontamination. This means that as an OEM we have developed a delivery system in conjunction with chemical reagent, methodology and business approach. All aspects and their inter-dependency have been considered and developed in relation to the ‘greater whole’ of achieving safe, rapid and effective decontamination.
