Revitalising Wales' Rail: Hygiene Pro Clean's Transformative Deep Clean and Disinfection
Hygiene Pro Clean (HPC) is at the forefront of redefining the standards of transportation cleanliness through our partnership with Transport for Wales Rail (TfWR). The flagship Class 175 Dilapidations and Redelivery Project, not only underscores our expertise in enhancing the travel experience but also showcases our ability to deliver significant cost savings for TfWR by redelivering this rolling stock to the highest standards and rejuvenating them ensuring that they are service ready for the next operator.
These trains, have been pivotal in TfWR's express services since 2001, covering the expansive Wales and Borders network. We have breathed new life into these vehicles, mitigating the impact of extensive use over time. Through the diligent efforts of our specialised team, each carriage has been meticulously revitalised, ensuring they are not only free of contaminants and odours but are also in prime condition to re-serve the public.
Project Highlights:
Comprehensive Revitalisation: Our project has successfully restored 68 vehicles, enabling them to be stored in prime condition, free from mould and when needed to re-enter service.
Efficient Resource Use: Addressing issues such as seat stains and scuff marks early in our process has led to substantial reductions in material and labour costs, further contributing to the project’s cost-effectiveness.
High Hygiene Standards: The meticulous cleaning standards we've applied exceed the stringent criteria set by Angel Trains Limited, ensuring each vehicle is delivered back to TfW at the highest level of cleanliness and readiness for future passenger use.
At the heart of our process is the innovative use of HPC’s Ultrasonic Atomiser technology, which ensures the elimination of over 99.9% of pathogens. This advanced deep-cleaning method not only achieves a visually superior level of cleanliness but also maintains the rolling stock in optimal condition, safeguarding passenger health and safety.
